What are you most proud of at work?

I love it when I see our students, instructors, advisory board members, staff and community partners use our networks to connect, share opportunities, announce accomplishments and cheer on each other.

I’m proud to be part of an organization that extends the reach of the University of Washington beyond the traditional undergraduate student population and builds learning communities for people of all ages and backgrounds. I manage our social media channels, and I love it when I see our students, instructors, advisory board members, staff and community partners use these networks to connect, share opportunities, announce accomplishments and cheer on each other.

What inspires you at work?

Student success stories! I enjoy hearing how our students used the knowledge they gained in our programs to enrich their lives, finally pursue a lifelong passion or boost their careers.

What’s the best thing about working for UW Continuum College?

My colleagues are amazing! They’re talented and incredibly involved in the community. It’s fun to hear about what they’re working on and what’s going on in the greater Seattle area.

Continuum is also a wonderful place to #KeepLearning. In my role, I explore topics like the latest trends in social media and best practices for fostering diversity, equity and inclusion. Since I create content for various programs, I get to learn interesting facts from fields like health care, engineering and programming.
